The Journey Begins
Our trip to China to bring home Kari begins in just 3 days. I guess the journey isn't really just beginning. Adoption is something that the Lord has set on our hearts since before we were married 11 years ago (we'll have to write more about that later). Yet, the journey to finally have our third little daughter finally in our arms, is finally here! It is a moment we've been anticipating since we turned in our paperwork in November 2006. Even though we've been anticipating this for almost two years, things are crazy busy with packing and preparing to go. But we hope to use this blog to keep our family (esp. Micaiah, Mimi, and Lydia) and friends updated with our time in China and to share with you a little about Karis's story as she joins the Chau family.

Hi Mike and Kris....
Thank you for letting us share in the joy of your journey! How excited you all must be....I want to go, too! ;) Your new little daughter is just beautiful -- we will be anxious to meet her next time we see you, Lord willing. May God give you many opps to speak of Him along the way, as you travel and spend time in China. And may it be a special time of bonding with little Karis Joy!
....with love....
